Orthopedic and spine surgery patients begin their recovery in a new, post-surgical orthopedic/neurosurgical unit. Located in the The Kaplen Pavilion, above the Emergency Care Center, the unit has 22 private rooms to accommodate patients and facilitate family visits.

This state-of-the-art facility is outfitted with furniture and equipment made especially for orthopedic/neurosurgery patients, such as higher-rise chairs and devises to ensure safe and comfortable patient lifting and movement.

The new unit reflects Englewood Hospital’s commitment to family-centered, comprehensive care. In addition to patient rooms that ensure privacy and comfort, the unit also offers common areas for educational programs, social interaction, and proximity to other services of the Medical Center, including physical therapy.
